On Friday, October 7th, the 4th Conference of Musqueteers of Safe Water Sports was held at the Neraida Floating Museum in Floisvos Marina.
On Friday, September 16, 2022, Safe Water Sports in collaboration with the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy & the Coast Guard, together with the Association of Lifesaving Schools of Greece, participated at the 86th IET.
Safe Water Sports in collaboration with the National Public Health Organization (NPHO) participated in the joint online event ‘’This summer stay safe’’, an awareness campaign for the safety of the elderly at sea, with the participation of more than 100 representatives of the Local Government, bodies of the Ministry of Health, the Hellenic Coast Guard, the Port Police Directorate and social organizations.
The "Safe Swimming Program" that is created by Safe Water Sports and addresses children of 3 months old up to 12 years of age, was presented in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, OAKA (Olympic Athletic Center of Athens ‘Spiros Louis’) and under the auspices of the Hellenic Swimming Federation and the Pan-Hellenic Coaches Association of Physical Education.
On the occasion of the National Day for the Prevention of sea-related accidents & drownings the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Mr. Giannis Plakiotakis and the Chief of the Hellenic Coast Guard - Antinau. Mr. George Alexandrakis carried out an inspection of the existing control system at Moraitis beach.
Safe Water Sports in collaboration with Pelagic Expo, the Ηellenic Association of Lifeguard Schools, the Watersports Association Greece & the Association of Diving Centers of Greece organized an event part of the exhibition named ''BOAT & FISHING SHOW 2022'' that took place from 10-13 March 2022.
