The fourth educational awareness center of Safe Water Sports for children & young people opened on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Koukounaries beach in Skiathos island.
WIND supports Safe Water Sports and the Union of Lifeguard Schools of Greece ESNE by providing technological equipment in order to detect and reduce sea-based accidents.

As the National Day for the Prevention of Sea-based Accidents and Drownings (11th May) is on its way, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the non-profit organization Safe Water Sports, signed a Memorandum of Undestanding (MOU) to undertake joint initiatives to prevent accidents during marine recreational and water sports activities.
On Monday, April 5, 2021, Athens College and Psychico College High School Juniors (B΄ Lyceum) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Yr1 students watched an online presentation about the Safe Water Sports program, aimed at raising students’ awareness and informing them about safety at sea.
