Safe Water Sports organized, on Friday, September 19th, 2025, at the Ecali Club, a deeply moving and celebratory evening marking 10 years of action and contribution to society in the prevention of drownings and water-related accidents, as well as in the promotion of safety in the aquatic environment.

The evening was dedicated to a decade of initiatives, partnerships, and actions that have made a significant contribution to raising awareness, educating, and sensitizing people of all ages — with a particular focus on children and young people.

Distinguished representatives from foundations, banks, and companies that have actively supported the Organization’s work over the years attended the event and delivered greetings, including:

Each speaker presented their collaboration with the Organization and highlighted the unique initiatives that have emerged from it. The evening featured presentations, a retrospective video of the Organization’s ten years of action, messages of support, and a special charity raffle with gifts offered by sponsors and supporters.

At the highlight of the event, the Founder & President of Safe Water Sports, Dr. Panagiotis Paschalakis, expressed his gratitude to everyone who has supported the vision:

“Ten years ago, we started with a dream — that no life should be lost at sea due to negligence or ignorance. Today, we see this vision becoming a reality, step by step, thanks to the support of society, institutions, sponsors, and most of all, the children who embrace the message of safety. This is only the beginning.”

The event crowned a decade of innovation, collaboration, and social impact, leaving a strong promise that Safe Water Sports will continue to build a new culture of water safety for generations to come.
