Βeach signs with the Sea Code Behaviour
Marking the beaches of our country is a means of informing citizens about their safety at the beach, in the sea and in water sports. Safe Water Sports has created the "Sea Code Behaviour” signs which are similar to the circular road signs. The beach signs aim to promote safety guidelines and gain more recognition. The signs were created in collaboration with AKTO students and are placed on almost 500 beaches:
-3 beaches in Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni Municipality
-7 beaches in Municipality of Saronic Attica (A. Nikolaos Lagonissiou, Blue Coast, Saronida, Mavro Litari, Alykes Anavyssos and Palea Fokea)
- 16 beaches in Municipality of Mykonos (P. Gialos, Panormos, Elia, Super paradise , Paradise, Paraga, Ornos, Kalafatis, Agia Anna, Psarrou, Agios Ioannis, Agrari, Ftelia, Lia, Agios Sostis, Kalo Livadi) and
-450 beaches in the prefecture of Central Greece
Our aim is all these signs to be installed in cooperation with local authorities across all beaches in Greece since this inititative is directly related to tourism. The construction of these beach signs, whose cost can result from sponsors that collaborate with Safe Water Sports, can significantly upgrade the image of our country to anyone who visits Greece and goes for swimming.
